Wait till you taste these Garlic & Ghee Steak Bites from Penny Kovacs (@pennysprimal) made with delicious filet mignon tips! Is there anything more delicious than steak that melts in your mouth and is covered in a garlicky, buttery sauce with mushrooms? Your guests will be begging for more.
INGREDIENTS

1 lb. filet mignon tips (cut into bite sized pieces)

10 oz. mushrooms (cut into quarters)

8 large cloves of garlic (minced)

4 tbsp. ghee (divided)

1 tbsp. coconut aminos

2 tbsp. arrowroot powder

2 cups beef bone broth
-
1 tsp. salt
-
½ tsp. pepper
-
2 tsp. thyme (minced)
DIRECTIONS

Melt half the ghee in a large skillet.

Add mushrooms and cook until browning, then move to a plate.

Add remaining ghee to the skillet and melt.

Add filet tips, garlic, salt and pepper.

Cook filet tips for 2 minutes per side and remove to a plate.

Add arrowroot to broth and whisk well. Add to the skillet and bring to a slow boil.

Add coconut aminos, lower heat and simmer until thickening.

Add filet tips and mushrooms back to the skillet and stir well to full coat the filet tips.

Add thyme and simmer for 5 more minutes.
